A 'must have'- this Draining Tray makes managing draining your curds inside of a mould so easy- just allow the tray to drain directly into a sink or into a collection vessel!
Custom Draining Tray: Can be used for draining and/or pressing moulds with or without bottoms, and fits perfectly into our Hardwood Cheese Press as well.
Includes Grooved Insert: Insert placed into tray for draining and/or pressing moulds/hoops that are bottomless. Insert has small grooves allowing for drainage out the bottom of 'hoop' style moulds but still keeps curds inside the mould!
Accomodates most Cheese Moulds (moulds up to 8" in Diameter fit nicely on this tray; you can fit multiple smaller moulds)
We have developed a Custom Made Draining Tray for home and small artisan cheese makers. It is pitched and constructed so whey can expel neatly off one side. This tray fits onto the base of our Dutch Style Cheese Press or it can be used without your press and with many cheese moulds or hoops. This Heavy Duty Tray will really make it easy to drain whey without the usual mess and cleanup. It has many useful applications for home and artisan cheese makers.
Draining Tray washing instructions: hand wash in warm water. Do not wash in dishwasher.
Insert Washing instructions: recommended hand wash, though ok to wash in dishwasher.
