Microbial Rennet tablets are an outstanding rennet option for all types of cheeses.
Tablet form Micro WalcoRen is a microbial coagulant preparation derived from a controlled fermentation of Rhizomucor miehei. Brownish granulate in tablet form. The product may have color variation. This has no influence on the clotting activity.
Use 1 tablet for 4 Liters (approx 1 gallon) of milk. Use for all types of cheeses including fresh and aged cheeses.
Note; you would generally use a Starter Culture to acidify the milk before adding rennet to the milk. (follow your recipe)
Directions: dissolve in a small amount of clean cool water, wait 5-10 minutes then pour across the milk surface, stirring for 3-4 gentle strokes. Contains 97% Chymosin & 3% Pepsin(enzymes), and salt. Organic and GMO Free.
