Animal Rennet tablets are an outstanding rennet option containing enzymes extracted from calf abomasum. The production process is carried out using a traditional and mainly manually technology. Thanks to a drying phase in traditional ovens, the final product has a granular appearance and uniform white color. Use 1 tablet for 4 Liters (approx 1 gallon) of milk. Use for all types of cheeses including fresh and aged cheeses.
Note; you would generally use a Starter Culture to acidify the milk before adding rennet to the milk. (follow your recipe)
Directions: dissolve in a small amount of clean cool water, wait 5-10 minutes then pour across the milk surface, stirring for 3-4 gentle strokes. Contains 97% Chymosin & 3% Pepsin(enzymes), and salt. Organic and GMO Free.
